As we continue this journey, we’ve run into an obstacle I honestly didn’t see coming: men who are quick to talk, but slow to act — or unwilling to act at all.

It wasn’t something I expected, but it’s nothing we can’t handle as a team.

She’s been active on the dating apps, matching with plenty of men who seem promising. Attractive, social, local, confident texters. Some are playful and funny, others are forward and flirty. On screen, and in messages, many of them seem great.

But when it comes to taking the next step — actually meeting — everything stalls… No plans. No follow-through. Just endless conversations that never leave the screen, or scared men who pull back because she’s real.

I didn’t imagine that finding that first man would be the hard part, but this experience has opened my eyes. The right fit takes effort. And honestly, that’s okay. She’s worth the effort and the right third is essential for us to start this dynamic in a strong, healthy, and confident way. Though the search may take longer, I will never ask her to settle or change.
